PARTYNEXTDOOR, one of Toronto’s successful music artists, released his album “P3” via the OVO Sound Label (distributed by Warner Bros) on Friday, August 12 (2016). This marks the 3rd instalment in his self titled chronicles. The previously released singles, “Not Nice”, “Come and See Me”, with the OVO boss Drake, are included with the album.
The album continues PARTY’s signature dark-toned music style, which has to an extent because synonymous with Toronto’s music scene. Start to finish, PARTY’s signature voice and tone, as on previously released “PartyNextDoor” and “PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO” projects, is conveyed through out the entirety of the album. There are hints of flirting with the Jamaican Dancehall music, which is something known to the Toronto music scene. It’s been well documented that Toronto music artists are influenced by, and work with artists in Jamaica that primarily release Dancehall music. The album contains 16 songs in total.
PARTY has long been a standout artist under the OVO Sound label and this album should further prove his creativity and gain even more fans.
News of new music from PARTY continue with rumours of him and R&B singer Jeremih (confirmed by Jeremih himself in an interview) releasing a joint project titled “Late Night Party”. No confirmed release date has been paired with the announcement of this project.
